Pittsburgh based makeup artist Lola Kayode, founder and creator of FLAWLESS BY LOLA, LLC is truly the definition of a makeup maven.

 

Lola started as a hair stylist which she loved beautifying her clients, she thought she found a new hobby which she absolutely loved and knew she could turn it into a career.  She wanted to better help her clients achieve the flawless looks she adored by the ladies that work for MAC Cosmetics.  So she got a one on one tutorial by one of the artist and purchased everything she needed to do a full face application.  Then she watched tutorials via Youtube and practiced her craft on friends and herself.

 

Following her new found passion, Lola then went to Empire Beauty School for cosmetology where she met many students and teachers that believed in her skills.  Those students became her clients and also helped her promote her FLAWLESS work.  After graduating her hobby quickly became a career of choice as she fell in love with the craft.

 

Her charismatic personality, vision, skillful use of color theory and flawless finish look gained her widespread success in the city of Pittsburgh.  Lola quickly built a following in Pittsburgh but it also spread throughout the United States, Africa and Europe. Her work has been seen on many celebrities and professionals such as VH1 Reality show stars Love & Hip Hop NY and Atlanta; Emily B, Nya Lee, Bambi and Diamond Strawberry.  She adapted to the reputation of “flawless beat” after many clients raved about their flawless application and claimed it was the most natural and beautiful make up application they’ve ever received.

 

Within her ten years of experience in the makeup industry Lola has worked with tons of bridal parties, tutorials, photo shoots, TV hosts, competitions, and so much more. On December 7, 2015, Lola launched her very own cosmetics line "Flawless By Lola Cosmetics" for everyday women.
